The Falkland islands are a Southern Atlantic territory in South America (Western Hemisphere). The fighting began when United States and Australian forces landed on the south-west corner of Morotai, a small island in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI), which the Allies needed as a base to support the liberation of the Philippines later that year.island

What makes this trip less tiring is that travelling from one island to another will only take at least 30-minutes in an inter-island flight and the best way to tour each island is by renting a car because unfortunately there is no public transportation here except in Honolulu.island

Now day’s inter island ships and ferries have been the best means of transportation of good and merchandise from island to another people also rely on these ships as ferries because the cost of a plane ticket are very expensive for the low income families.

For example, to the west of a line ( Wallace’s Line ) running between Bali and Lombok and between Borneo and Celebes , the islands are biologically Asian, but to the east of the line, notwithstanding the narrowness of the Lombok Strait, the vegetation and animal life are Australian.

Also, there is currently (January 2011) a Fiji island only moderately smaller than Katafanga but MUCH closer to communities and tourists centers that is being offered at US$7million (and this does include a good-will premium for an apparently viable resort business plan).island
